Mobile HVAC / Maintenance Technician - JLL What this job involves: This position is responsible for operating, inspecting, and performing preventive maintenance on all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across multiple facilities. The Mobile Engineer ensures buildings operate at maximum capacity and life expectancy while maintaining energy efficiency, safety standards, and minimal downtime. This hands-on role requires proactive maintenance, emergency response capabilities, and detailed record-keeping to preserve facility assets and ensure optimal client occupancy conditions. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior components Conduct facility inspections and respond to work orders using building automation systems and computerized maintenance management systems Maintain detailed records and asset history documentation for all facility equipment and systems Respond effectively to emergency situations and after-hours building emergencies as required Complete assigned facility due diligence efforts and prepare summary reports for management with recommended actions Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, State/County/City codes, and maintain clean, safe work areas Attend periodic training seminars, complete monthly safety training, and stay current with industry best practices

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
  • Universal CFC Certification (EPA Section 608)
  • Minimum 4 years of technical experience in building engineering with strong background in HVAC systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Proven experience with packaged and split HVAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment repair
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building automation systems and fire/life safety systems
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Climb ladders up to 30 ft.
  • On-call duties and overtime as required
  • Work in various indoor/outdoor environments and weather conditions
  • Experience with Corrigo or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Additional HVAC certifications (NATE, RSES, or manufacturer-specific certifications)
  • Basic knowledge of energy management systems and building controls
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance scheduling and work order management
  • Experience working in commercial real estate or multi-tenant facilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and reporting
