About The Position

As a Mobile HVAC Engineer, you'll be responsible for the comprehensive operation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems across multiple client sites to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond promptly to repair work orders and emergencies, and inspect facility systems such as HVAC, fire/life safety, plumbing, electrical, lighting, temperature controls, and critical environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Universal CFC Certification (EPA Section 608)
  • 4+ years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance, electrical systems and equipment repair
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building automation systems and fire/life safety systems
  • Experience with Corrigo or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Nice To Haves

  • Additional HVAC certifications (NATE, RSES, or manufacturer-specific certifications)
  • Basic knowledge of energy management systems and building controls
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance scheduling and work order management
  • Experience working in commercial real estate or multi-tenant facilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing, mechanical, and building interior/exterior components, including related grounds and production equipment.
  • Maintain, operate, and become familiar with all facility equipment and systems
  • Complete assigned facility inspections and due diligence, reporting on conditions that may impact client occupancy and satisfaction
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Corrigo for all work performed
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and after-hours building emergencies as required
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, relevant codes, and maintain clean, safe work areas.
