About The Position

The Mobile Health Bus Driver will be based out of Texas Health Fort Worth and will start and end their day at this location, but most of the day will be spent driving to mobile health clinics. This is a full-time position with 10-hour days, 4 days per week from 7:00am to 7:00pm, with rotating days from Monday to Saturday. The role is connected to system changes to address social determinants of health and is focused on facilitating access to health services for underserved community members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1 year of customer service experience (strongly preferred).
• Bilingual in Spanish (plus).
• Prior experience driving large trucks (plus).
• Driver’s License (required).
• CDL and DOT CDL Medical Certificate (required within 90 days).
• BCLS required and must be maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Operate THR commercial vehicles as assigned, which vary in size and weight classification and are equipped with sensitive digital mammography and other medical equipment.
• Follow THR Fleet Standard Operating Procedure.
• Maintain current Commercial Driver’s License, DOT Medical Certification, and other relevant certifications.
• Manage admission and registration of patients to the department for patient care and oversee patient clinic flow and throughput.
• Review and confirm all logistical details related to the visit by the mobile health team to ensure a positive experience for event sponsors, patients, and the mobile health team.
• Maintain patient care areas and ensure they are clean and organized.
