About The Position

Mobile Fleet Maintenance Technician | Full-Time Shared Medical Services is one of the largest mobile imaging companies in the United States, providing diagnostic services nationwide. Position Summary The Mobile Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile medical coaches and trailers. This is a fully mobile role, working out of a company-provided service truck and traveling throughout an assigned region.

Requirements

Valid drivers license with clean record
DOT Inspection Certificate required
Experience with fleet or trailer repair and diagnostics
Knowledge of DOT regulations
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Ability to work independently and travel (100% regional travel)
Flexible schedule (may include nights/weekends)
Team-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
Comfortable using mobile apps for service documentation

Nice To Haves

ASE certification, HVAC, or welding/fabrication experience

Responsibilities

Perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
Service trailers and fleet systems (brakes, suspension, generators, electrical, etc.)
Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
Maintain service records and documentation
Ensure DOT and safety compliance (including MRI/radiation protocols)
Maintain a safe, clean work environment
