Requirements

  • Safe operation of mobile equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and skid steers.
  • Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts, loaders, skid steers, and other vehicles, in compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and other items between production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Inspect equipment daily and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, damage, or unsafe conditions to supervision promptly.
  • Follow production schedules to support timely product flow and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety and environmental standards.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
