WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING You’ll keep our fleet running safe and strong, including: Loaders, dozers, excavators, backhoes Scrapers and articulated haul trucks Service trucks and company vehicles This is real equipment doing real work — no garage queens. THE WORK Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment Perform preventive maintenance to cut downtime Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, and drivetrain issues Use OEM diagnostic software to pinpoint problems Test equipment before putting it back into service Log inspections, repairs, and parts used in our CMMS system Weld, cut, and fabricate parts when needed Work safe and follow MSHA/OSHA rules — no shortcuts WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 3+ years working on diesel and heavy equipment Solid knowledge of engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems Can troubleshoot issues without constant supervision Comfortable using a CMMS system to document work Team player who shows up and pulls their weight Valid driver’s license with a clean record Willing to work overtime when needed WORK CONDITIONS Indoor and outdoor work in all weather Heat, cold, dust, rain — the real world Regular lifting up to 50 lbs Operating heavy equipment as part of the job WHY YORK? Requirements

  • 3+ years working on diesel and heavy equipment
  • Solid knowledge of engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Can troubleshoot issues without constant supervision
  • Comfortable using a CMMS system to document work
  • Team player who shows up and pulls their weight
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Willing to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities
