About The Position

CBRE is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Engineer to join our team in the vibrant Denver, Colorado area. This is a mobile position, meaning you will be responsible for traveling to various client sites throughout the Denver area to perform essential maintenance and repairs. The shift for this role is 2nd shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. As a Mobile Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients' facilities. You will be responsible for both preventative maintenance and prompt corrective repairs across a wide range of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and life safety systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, where you will play a vital role in providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma.
  • Universal CFC certification is required.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Must meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to ensure facilities and building systems meet or exceed applicable standards as assigned.
  • Review assigned work orders, estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs, and maintain an inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
  • Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Review inspections of building and industrial systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and achieves the environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of your job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
