About The Position

CallRail is looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. What You'll Do Build and Maintain Our Platform. It's what we do best! You'll be part of a core team that owns a domain within our platform and you'll be part of the team that helps build and grow it over time. Be a valuable part of the team. You will bring your core development skills and your experience in the server side domain building or scaling an engineering product. You will help to evaluate, prioritize, and drive system level design changes to our product. Communicate well. You'll explain your work clearly to team members, and seek feedback to build a codebase we all enjoy contributing to. This also includes reviewing code in a way that empowers your teammates while improving our codebase. Be a good teammate. You'll be helpful, open-minded, respectful, and collaborative. You'll be working in a team, not in isolation. As an experienced developer, you will serve as a leader, mentor, participate in making technical design decisions, and good teammate to our talented team of engineers Learn. Regardless of your level of experience or seniority, you'll work to improve your skills and learn more about our customers and their needs.

Requirements

• Writing iOS and Android applications
• Strong understanding of testing best practices and a commitment to code quality
• Helping make technical design decisions as part of a team
• Software development in a team environment
• Participating in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Staying current with mobile development best practices, frameworks, and OS updates.
• Understanding of Apple's and Google's design principles and interface guidelines

Nice To Haves

• Experience with push notifications and cloud message APIs (e.g., FCM, APNS)
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Strong understanding of integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services.
