About The Position

Mobile Engagement Team Lead (TL) serves as support to the Mobile Engagement Director to ensure the Mobile Engagement Program in assigned areas functions with high quality and consistency. MET services provide the evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, and crisis intervention services in a high-intensity clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making by the TL in consultation with the Director. The TL provides on call services on a regularly scheduled basis. Assists the Director in efforts to collaborate with relevant Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and all stakeholders (i.e. hospitals, law enforcement, etc.) to maintain 24/7/365 Mobile Engagement Team (MET) services.

Requirements

  • Must be able to demonstrate 1 year of experience providing crisis care in assertive outreach, assertive community treatment, emergency departments, inpatient units, or other services providing comprehensive emergency/crisis services.
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or relative field, from an accredited college or university.
  • Three to five years of clinical practice experience.
  • Must be Licensed or Certified in Area of Practice: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Practicing Psychologist, and/or licensed or certified in a related human services field.

Responsibilities

  • Provides regularly scheduled MET services in assigned area(s)
  • Mentors their assigned MET staff through case consultation, new employee orientation, and training to increase their clinical effectiveness, productivity and therapeutic skills. Provides in-service training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, provides best practices training to staff, oversees the collection and submission of supplemental payments, and participates in agency-wide training programs/in-services. These duties may at times occur outside of normal business hours.
  • In coordination with the MET Director, TL assists with the development, use, analysis, and feedback of clinical performance measurement indicators, processes and audits and assures all paperwork, billing tickets, and documentation is completed in a timely manner. Additionally, assists in ensuring strict compliance with all professional standards, Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures. Assists MET Director in evaluating the ongoing performance of consumer services, as well as the individual performance of other MET staff. Participates in the selection and hiring of staff and scheduling of current staff to ensure all shifts are covered 24/7 which may include covering open shifts.
  • Attend community meetings, train community partners, and complete data records for programs outside of the normal MET services array to continue to increase MET assistance within Daymark’s served counties such as PORT, First responder, Hospital discharge, and LEA programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Provide on-site clinical consultation to all Mobile Engagement staff.
