About The Position

We are currently hiring a Diesel Technician IV who will be responsible for preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on our trucks, which include equipment by Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliners. This includes all general and complex repairs. Multiple shifts available. Requirements

• Basic Tool set for job functions
• 1+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience
• Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to read and understand operating manuals, service manuals and written instruction
• Valid Class C driver's license
• Ability to clearly read, write and speak English
• Basic math calculations

Nice To Haves

• Cummins or Detroit Certifications
• Commercial Inspection Certification

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled and non-routine repairs to company/contractor fleet to meet DOT standards
• Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repair
• Suspension and steering systems diagnostics and repair
• Air and hydraulic braking systems diagnostics and repair
• Electrical and lighting diagnostics and repair
• Preventable Maintenance repairs
• Changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Maintaining a clean and neat shop
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
