About The Position

Peraton requires Mobile Device Support Specialists to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This po sition is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. The Mobile Device Support Specialist will support applications on mobile devices for a broad spectrum of mobile operating systems (i.e. Apple iOS, Android OS, BlackBerry or others as required). The Mobile Device Support Specialist shall plan, engineer, coordinate, and manage equipment installations on multiple impact levels and networks in order to connect highly mobile and capable SOF professionals to the information they need.

Requirements

  • A DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is
  • Min 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PHD
  • DoD 8570-M IAT II
  • Able to lead a team of individuals, track progress, ensure objectives are met , mentor junior team members and manage assignments
  • Innovative problem solving
  • Understanding of iPhone, Samsung, and BlackBerry devices to include IOS and AOS and emergent technologies .
  • Have a demonstrated ability to communicate exceptionally well both orally and in writing, as well as have a positive customer service attitude.
  • Strong proactive team player

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of individuals providing IT mobility support to multifaceted user base in a geographically dispersed team
  • Provides project management, task assignments , ensures policy compliance and communicate s with government leadership on the status of tasks and assets both in garrison and in theater
  • Provisions, manages, maintains , and tracks end user mobile computing devices authorized and assigned to individual personnel for secure and non-secure communications.
  • Configures and maintains mobile computing devices and associated auxiliary devices as directed by the Government and in accordance with applicable DoD Cybersecurity policies, procedures, regulations, and directives.
  • Baselines and maintains end user mobile computing device configurations, including STIGs, and maintains configuration control and policy management of devices.
  • Assists the Government to draft mobile computing policies and procedures, implement and integrate new mobile computing services and technologies, and troubleshoot, repair, and provide logistical support for existing mobile devices.
  • Interfaces directly with customers to provide training and to resolve issues related to services.
  • Maintains mobile computing device utilization history, including a review of device and service usage, audits, and reconciliation of utilization .
  • Coordinates and manages accountability of new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades, and tracks the disposition of equipment throughout its lifecycle.
