About The Position

Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to make a difference in your community? We’re seeking a Full Time Mobile Crisis Service Provider to join our Crisis Response Team. This vital role provides immediate crisis intervention, stabilization, and support to individuals and families experiencing behavioral health emergencies—both in-person and via telehealth. The Mobile Crisis Service Provider delivers compassionate, professional crisis resolution services across Aroostook, Hancock, and Washington Counties. You’ll respond to individuals in crisis at various locations, including primary care offices, homeless shelters, police stations, peer centers, homes, and community settings. Crisis services are available 24/7, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Requirements

  • This position requires an associate's degree from an accredited college or university. A bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field is preferred.
  • MHRT-CSP certification is required to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position. The MHRT-CSP training will be provided by the agency upon hire.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • CPR/First Aid Training, Mandt, START, and CAMS are required training provided within one year of employment.
  • Must be trained to administer and carry NARCAN. Training will be provided by the agency upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis evaluations, intervention, and stabilization to individuals and families.
  • Partner with law enforcement, first responders, and community agencies to coordinate crisis response and support.
  • Participate in co-response with law enforcement for crisis assessments and protective custody evaluations.
  • Promote the philosophy that recovery is possible—providing client-centered, trauma-informed care.
  • Develop crisis intervention plans that identify effective supports for individuals in crisis.
  • Facilitate open crisis stabilization groups in outpatient settings.
  • Coordinate care with families, treatment providers, and community partners to ensure continuity of services.
  • Educate community members and professionals about available crisis services and behavioral health resources.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all interventions and follow-up actions.
  • Provide debriefing support after critical community events.
  • Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new staff.
  • Provide support to staff in satellite offices as requested.
