About The Position

Be the Calm in the Storm as a Mobile Crisis Clinician Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 12am-8am. May be based out of Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Maires, Phelps, and Pulaski counties. Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments where your clinical skills can truly change lives? As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you’ll be on the front lines providing immediate, person-centered crisis intervention to individuals in behavioral health distress. You’ll assess needs, de-escalate crises, and ensure individuals are connected with the care and resources they need — all while collaborating with a compassionate and skilled team. Requirements

  • High School/GED Required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in social work, psychology, or related field preferred
  • At least one (1) year experience working in behavioral health required if Bachelor’s degree is the highest education level obtained
  • Working knowledge of DSM-V required
  • A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
  • Reliable transportation
  • MO Substance Use credential required (CRADC or CADC) (if high school is highest education obtained)

  • PLPC, LMSW, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, or LCSW preferred

  • Have strong clinical instincts and can remain calm under pressure

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with individuals, families, and community partners

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely crisis assessment and intervention via phone, video, or in person
  • Conduct Zero Suicide screenings and risk evaluations
  • Make clinically sound decisions to stabilize individuals and refer to appropriate services
  • Coordinate care with internal teams and external community partners
  • Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
  • Document services accurately and maintain compliance with agency and state standards
  • Participate in supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Regional travel required; hybrid work environment with office-based shifts required
