The Mobile Collections Manager position leads high-impact mobile blood drive operations. They oversee planning, staffing, and on-site execution to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant collection events-while delivering an exceptional donor experience and supporting lifesaving work in the community. The anticipated salary starts at $58,500 a year and is commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated healthcare, laboratory, blood center, or clinical operations environment
  • Proficient with basic computer skills and office tools, such as Microsoft Office, and ability to use software relevant to the position
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions, seeking guidance as necessary.
  • A Valid and clear driving license is required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in medical assisting, Phlebotomy, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as DPT (ASCP), BLS, phlebotomy, and First Aid preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leads and oversees mobile blood drive operations, including planning, staffing, logistics, and on-site execution to ensure safe, efficient, and successful collection events.
  • Serves as the on-site leader and is trusted to take ownership of mobile drive operations, with the authority to make real-time decisions and adjust or escalate activities as needed to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient collections
  • Ensures compliance with all SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements (FDA, AABB, DOT, and state/local), including enforcing safety standards and taking appropriate action to maintain donor and staff safety.
  • Supervises, coaches, and develops mobile collections staff; supports recruitment, training, competency validation (including BECS procedures), and performance management.
  • Promotes an exceptional donor and customer experience by resolving concerns in real time and balancing service excellence with safety and operational priorities.
  • Supports operational excellence through equipment and vehicle oversight, DOT compliance, quality processes (CARs, CQIs, CSRs, CAPAs), and participation in SOP development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
