About The Position

The Mobile Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) works within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving the Kensington area of Philadelphia, one of the city’s communities most impacted by addiction and homelessness. This mission-driven initiative embeds urgent, compassionate care directly into the community, providing substance use treatment (including Methadone), primary care, crisis response, and court support through street-level engagement and evidence-based practices. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team, the Mobile CRS provides community-based recovery support to individuals receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT), and non-MAT services. The CRS serves as an advocate and motivator, engaging clients throughout the Kensington community, supporting transportation to treatment services (including Parkside programs), and promoting recovery, wellness, and stability. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by connecting individuals to care and resources in one of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable neighborhoods. The position is grant funded with extensions possible.
