POSITION SUMMARY The part-time Mobile Center Driver supports the mission of the Center for Human Services by transporting and setting up the 34-foot Mobile Sensory and Accessibility Resource Center at various community events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent truck and trailer driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

Requirements

  • High School/HiSET degree.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
  • Clean driving record
  • Previous experience in a driving or towing role.
  • Must provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel as needed, with overnight/weekend stays.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates safe transport, efficient setup and use of the Mobile Center to and from community sites.
  • Maintains truck and trailer preventative maintenance by ensuring the completion of daily checks and maintenance logs.
  • Schedules and coordinates utility and waste services
  • Communicates organizations mission and Mobile Center’s purpose in community.
  • Precepts new drivers and orients new staff to Mobile Center procedures.
