About The Position

ABM is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer (MIT) to support multiple client sites through 100% travel. This role requires expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient operations across diverse environments. Pay: $30.00/hr The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Schedule: Day Shift, 35 hours.

Requirements

Experience as a Mobile Building Engineer, Building Engineer, or Maintenance Technician
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Ability to work independently across multiple locations
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 100%
Strong time management and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

EPA 608 and OSHA certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Travel 100% between assigned buildings to perform maintenance and repairs
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Respond to emergency service calls and on-call requests
Complete inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure safe building operations
Document all work orders and PMs using CMMS
Coordinate with vendors and communicate with site contacts
Follow ABM safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
