CBRE is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Building and HVAC Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This exciting opportunity involves supporting a major telecommunications client, providing essential maintenance and repair services across multiple sites. You'll be part of a dynamic team, driving efficiency and ensuring the smooth operation of critical infrastructure.

  • HVAC Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to, troubleshooting, component replacement, and system optimization.
  • Plumbing & Electrical Maintenance: Handle basic plumbing tasks like clearing drains (snaking), repairing/replacing P-traps, and perform minor electrical repairs such as changing ballasts and other electrical components.
  • Preventative Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Work Order Management: Efficiently manage and complete assigned work orders, estimating time and materials needed, and tracking progress.
  • Energy Management: Implement energy-saving measures to ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to building codes and safety regulations.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and supervisors to address inquiries and provide updates.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • EPA Universal certification is required.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical experience, including the ability to clear drains, repair P-traps, and perform minor electrical tasks (e.g., changing ballasts).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads (50 lbs. or more).
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards, and the ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
