About The Position

Jim Norton Ford is seeking a skilled Mobile Automotive Technician to join our team in Broken Arrow, OK. In this role, you will provide expert automotive repair and maintenance services directly at customers’ locations, ensuring convenience and high-quality service. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs, and maintain vehicles to meet our company’s standards of excellence. The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM in intensity. Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely. Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing. Frequent – Repetitive motion. Frequent – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs. This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership. Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a mobile work environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills for a variety of vehicle systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customers’ locations to perform diagnostic and repair services on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Inspect and evaluate vehicle mechanical systems to identify problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain services and needed repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
