About The Position

The Mobile Associate (MA) role at T-Mobile is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and customer service. As part of a Retail Team of Experts, MAs serve as brand ambassadors, engaging with customers to provide a world-class experience while promoting T-Mobile's products and services. This position emphasizes building relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering personalized solutions in a fast-paced retail environment. The role includes comprehensive training to prepare associates for advancement to the Mobile Expert position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
• Passionate customer advocate with a desire to connect with customers (Required)
• Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
• Willingness to collaborate with peers and store leaders (Required)
• Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Responsibilities

• Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class customer experience.
• Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
• Explore individual customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of technology.
• Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
• Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
• Become skilled in using digital tools to enhance customer interactions.
• Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience and new skills.
• Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience.
• Identify and handoff small business leads.
• Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
