This position is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing Normandale's Sirtify program. This program's purpose is to recruit Black, African American, and African men into the first two years of elementary and secondary teacher education programs, and provide supports so that successfully complete their degree. This position plays a critical role in advancing Normandale's efforts to increase representation of underrepresented populations as teachers in K-12 education. This position also advances the college's strategic goals of achieving racial equity in educational outcomes, associate degree completion or baccalaureate degree completion of 50% or better, and a college culture that is culturally competent and service oriented.
