About The Position
The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position. Responsible for management of system over endoscopy departments to ensure daily operations, staff, and patient care to ensure compliance with regulations and high standards of clinical quality. Answer directly to System Director and work closely with OR managers for patient care. Key responsibilities is managing staff through oversight of charge nurses, maintaining equipment and infection control, coordination and expansion of advanced procedures and collaborating with director budgeting needs. Leadership role requires strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to ensure efficient and safe patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited RN school of nursing
- current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing
- Successful completion of an ACLS and PALS course of study, & maintain certification
- Competency in administration of conscious sedation
- Demonstrates leadership abilities and a functional rapport with co-workers, physicians, and ancillary departments.
