As a mmWave Design Engineer at Apple, you will be an integral part of our fast-growing mmWave and cellular wireless design team. This team is responsible for all aspects of mmWave/cellular silicon development, focusing on highly integrated and efficient designs that enhance the user experience at the product level. In this role, you will leverage your extensive background in circuit design to provide innovative mmWave design solutions for multi-gigabit wireless chips. Your contributions will be crucial in defining the requirements for mmWave phased-array front-end and baseband blocks, collaborating closely with platform architects, system engineers, and digital design groups to ensure that product specifications are met. You will also engage with the technology team and foundries to evaluate and select processes for the target devices. Your responsibilities will include designing various transceiver blocks in TX, RX, and LX chains, and partnering with design, layout, and chip integration teams to integrate intellectual properties (IPs) and verify top-level functionality and performance. Additionally, you will work alongside mmWave test engineers to bring up and characterize chips, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected at Apple.
