About The Position

The Avionics Technician at Aviation Technical Services is responsible for servicing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft to ensure their airworthiness. This role requires intermediate knowledge of aircraft systems and the ability to work under minimal supervision, performing routine maintenance and repairs in specialized areas of avionics.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of avionics experience.
  • Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is a plus.
  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience is highly encouraged, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
  • Perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized areas of avionics.
  • Utilize and maintain avionics hand tools for repairs and installations.
  • Document work performed according to ATS and customer maintenance programs.
  • Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
