Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
Ability to read and follow instructions, formulas, and weights.
Physical capability for standing, walking, lifting, and bending.

Nice To Haves

Preferred: experience in machine operation or chemical/ink batch-making.
Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate mixers and mills (ball, horizontal, Kady) according to batch tickets.
Accurately select, weigh, and blend raw materials.
Operate and maintain vat and drum washers.
Monitor grind variables: flow rate, particle size, viscosity, and temperature.
Conduct physical testing (viscosity, solids, grind, non-volatile matter).
Perform basic color matching and report quality variances.
Enter data and process batch tickets using computer systems.
Clean and maintain equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
Operate forklifts for material handling.
Complete documentation: batch tickets, QC records, inventory logs.
Troubleshoot and operate automated PLC-based equipment.
Lift and carry up to 55 lbs; push/pull up to 100 lbs with assistance.
