Position Description: The Mixing Center General Manager works under the direction of the Senior Director – Mixing Center Operations and in coordination with key members of the upstream Supply Chain to ensure the mixing center goals for productivity and internal customer service are met while decreasing freight exposure through effective scheduling and Supply Chain communications. The Mixing Center General Manager is accountable for delivering performance in each KPI: EBITA, productivity: UPH/CPHU, inventory accuracy, safety. He/she oversees all operational and administrative facets of the Mixing Center to ensure compliance with all Company guidelines, policies and federal and state regulations in order to protect the Company's assets. Executes and deploys supply chain strategy while ensuring continuous improvement is occurring at their facility.

Responsibilities

  • Coach the management team to maintain accurate physical inventory and timely delivery of shipment orders, ensuring inventory integrity with minimal variances.
  • Collaborate with other General Managers on inventory procedures and systems such as Bin Location Systems, Op-Ex Costing Structure, WMS, and physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Deliver the Mixing Center's annual operating plan by managing costs, productivity, and labor efficiency; oversee expenses to meet monthly and annual budget targets set by the Company.
  • Demonstrate leadership that engages and empowers associates to own their performance, grow their careers and contribute to the company mission and vision
  • Develop and lead talent in alignment with the People First strategy; oversee recruitment, onboarding, disciplinary procedures, training, and succession planning.
  • Develop, update, and share regular performance reports with key internal stakeholders; provide information on returns, delivery status, credit issues, and administrative activities as necessary.
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA, and other regulatory agencies while adhering to Company health and safety policies.
  • Lead a team of professionals, ensuring goal alignment, development, coaching, and performance tracking.
  • Lead daily and weekly meetings to identify and address operational issues, communicating relevant changes and messages from other parts of the Company as needed.
  • Promote organizational health and lead the company’s safety program by establishing effective training and clear expectations for a safe and compliant work environment.
