About The Position

The Mixing Associate works in the Mixing Department, operating various pumps, scales, and mixing devices to accurately and carefully craft bulk quantities of Wondercide’s core product group. Reporting directly to the Mixing Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day batch mixing, preparation, and inspection of raw materials, and documenting batch information in adherence with established quality standards. The ideal candidate for this role is an individual who has a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and who operates well independently or on a team of two. You will be fully engaged from day one and work closely with Production Leads and the Mixing Department Supervisor to ensure that the Production team is well-supplied with the solutions they need to meet their daily and weekly goals.

Requirements

  • A professional with a high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Someone who succeeds in both independent and team settings in the workplace
  • A safety-minded individual with a background in material handling and inventory management
  • You are able and willing to lift 50 lbs multiple times a day and are comfortable working in a standing position throughout the majority of the day
  • A professional with strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • You are a motivated self-starter who enjoys setting and achieving goals on a daily and weekly basis
  • Someone with a strong understanding of basic math and strong quality standards
  • You possess a commitment to your shift schedule, including arriving on time, informing your manager when any obligations change, and arranging your transportation to our warehouse location
  • A background in large-scale batch mixing, blending, or solutions manufacturing is an excellent fit for this opening
  • Two years or more of experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus
  • Experience with spreadsheets and batch documentation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mix raw materials for all batches to meet production needs.
  • Precisely record additions to each batch and other process details.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Inspect for quality and regularly report to management.
