- Able to use standard construction tools preferred
- Experience operating a concrete mixer truck preferred
- Able to read blueprints preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver concrete to production area according to direction from bed personnel
- Coordinate pouring of concrete with designated production area associates
- Check fluid levels, perform minor maintenance on truck or request maintenance when necessary
- Maintain preventative maintenance program on all batch plant equipment
- Operate mixer on truck, make judgements regarding the slumps of concrete
- Operate loader and help with plant maintenance when needed
- Meet production concrete delivery schedules
- Use computerized batching systems
- Properly load truck, drive truck safely in yard, discharge concrete from truck to forms
- Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations
