About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Mixer Technician-1st shift to join our team located in Thomasville NC . The Mixer Technician is responsible for setting up batch material for mixing based on production orders and delivering mixed materials to production lines for final production. The schedule for this position is Mon.-Thurs. 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. We Offer You! Operate forklifts, mixers and other machinery used for the mixing and preparation of materials used in production. Maintain adequate supplies of materials for mixing and alert supervision of low inventory. Adjust formulas based on production needs and/or quality standards. Inspect materials for any defects or inconsistencies before mixing. Report and address material quality issues such as contamination or defects. Operate and maintain mixing machines. Maintain accurate records of formulas, adjustments, and outputs, material weights, percentages and batch numbers. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to machines. Promptly address issues such as material shortages or machine malfunctions to minimize downtime. What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience driving forklifts. Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic tools Excellent organizational abilities. The hourly wage for this position is $17.00/hr. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience driving forklifts.
  • Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic tools
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
