Mixer Operator

About the position

We are looking for a Mixer Operator in Lake Norden, South Dakota. The role involves safely and efficiently transporting raw materials to the vat, adding them together, and mixing the product. The position operates on a 3-2-2-3 schedule with a monthly rotation between days and nights, working from 5:30am to 5:30pm and 5:30pm to 5:30am. Holiday pay and double time on Sundays are included, along with a $1.50/hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport raw materials to vat; adding them together and mixing product.
• Apply/adhere to relevant information related to material/ingredients and enter in computer as applicable.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work as a team.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good Mechanical aptitude required.
• Previous food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
