Mixer Operator

About the position

We are looking for a Mixer Operator in Lake Norden, South Dakota. Safely and efficiently transport raw materials to vat; adding them together and mixing product. Adhere to relevant information related to material/ingredients and enter in computer as applicable. The position involves a 3-2-2-3 schedule with monthly rotating shifts between days and nights: 5:30am-5:30pm and 5:30pm-5:30am. Holiday pay and double time on Sundays are included, along with a $1.50/hour shift differential between the hours of 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport raw materials to vat.
• Add raw materials together and mix product.
• Adhere to relevant information related to material/ingredients and enter in computer as applicable.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work as a team.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good mechanical aptitude required.
• Previous food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
