Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Mixer provides non-formulated and formulated mixes to keep prime equipment continuously supplied.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Able to read and write.
  • Able to perform basic math using a calculator.
  • Able to use a computer to retrieve emails and other electronic information.
  • Knowledge and use of electronic systems such as Prism, Wonderware, SharePoint, and email.
  • Able to read a tape measure.
  • Follow instructions.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good physical shape for motor controls.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Good housekeeping skills.
  • Self-motivator; ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that daily safety, housekeeping, and calibration checks are completed, and standards followed.
  • Fully understand, and maintain proficiency in, all tasks referenced in the employee training record for this position.
  • Coordinate duties and communicate to other team members to support completion of responsibilities in all areas.
  • Operate all equipment safely in the mix room area.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of all raw materials used in formulating and of finished products.
  • Participate in the communication and resolution of quality issues.
  • Understand and apply quality system procedures.
  • Must be willing and able to work any/all shifts.
  • Participates in teams and applicable training opportunities.
  • Understands and comply with Safety Policies.
  • Ability and willingness to complete powered industrial vehicle training and certification, if required.
