The Concrete Mixer Truck Driver is responsible for delivering ready mix concrete in a safe, efficient, customer oriented, and professional manner from production sites to customer projects. BENEFITS: · Competitive wages · Commuter Benefits available to qualified applicants · Generous employer 401k contribution · Health Insurance · Dental & Vision Insurance · Paid Time Off · Paid Holidays · Workforce housing available to qualified applicants ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Communicates effectively and works well in a team environment. · Deliver ready mix concrete safely and efficiently from production sites to customer projects and ensure delivery records are processed appropriately. · Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner. · Communicate with dispatch, plant operators, other drivers, and customers to provide quality service. · Visually inspect the quality and consistency of concrete in the mixer truck. · Perform daily preventive truck maintenance and inspection. · Ensure environmental and DOT requirements are followed. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. · Class A or B driver's license with current medical card. · Minimal moving violations. · Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff. · Must be able to interpret written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. · Strong work ethic. · Flexibility is essential, as the position requires varied working hours and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. · Ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines. WORK ENVIRONMENT: · Perform all work in accordance with Casey Concrete or Company Safety policies. · The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements. · PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: · Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting – 50 pounds minimum.
