About The Position

The Production Mixer role at the Carrollton location is responsible for the operation of the mixer(s) to provide properly mixed dough to the production line at the appropriate time in order to maintain production schedules and for the proper operation of the extruder to provide consistent production in order to maintain production line schedules. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Accurate scaling of ingredients according to established formulas, loading ingredients into the mixer and mixing to proper consistency, correctly setting up the extruder, safely lifting and dumping bulk ingredients, properly monitoring and adjusting the extruder to maintain the correct properties as required by process or formulation requirements, maintaining batch reports and recording all finished products while maintaining production line schedules, ensuring that samples are pulled for each dough, adhering to all company policies, plant rules and safety regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook, complying with FDA, OSHA, EPA and all other regulatory agencies, and adhering to good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to read and understand mixing formulas and procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders.
