About The Position

The Mixed Martial Arts Coach at UFC Gym is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering private training sessions to members. This role focuses on achieving revenue goals related to private training and supplement sales while ensuring a positive member experience. Coaches are expected to embody the UFC Gym philosophy and maintain a high standard of service and training effectiveness.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of private training techniques from assessment to program design.
• Working knowledge of the dotFIT program and software.
• Ability to adjust and operate all fitness equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to generate and maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to respond professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and staff.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience operating office equipment such as computers, calculators, fax, and photocopiers.
• Computer proficiency with basic skills in Word and Excel.
• Ability to work, set up, and execute successful weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Certification from an organization recognized by UFC Gym and/or Pro-Am fight background.
• 4-year degree in a related field recognized by UFC Gym (preferred).
• Current DotFIT certification (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell and conduct private and small group training sessions with members.
• Assist members and encourage their involvement in private training.
• Ensure accurate administration of client programs, supplement purchases, measurement tracking, and workout programs.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and attentive for training appointments.
• Assist in all revenue-generating activities, including complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body fat tables, seminars, and workshops.
• Sell training sessions and execute an effective prospecting strategy, conducting guest tours, and completing sales as needed.
• Achieve personal monthly revenue objectives set by the company regarding private coaching and supplements.
• Perform 'Starter Sessions' and engage in prospecting activities.
• Focus on changing lives through service, science, and sales.
• Act as a brand ambassador for UFC Gym and its 'Train Different' philosophy.
• Conduct safe and effective private MMA training sessions.
• Maintain organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces.
