About The Position

At Kustom US, our Mitigation Technicians are ALWAYS in demand and we are ready to invest in you. Our Yakima, WA division has positions to fill in our Mitigation department. This position is responsible for evaluating the integrity of affected residential structures and contents for direct or indirect water, fire, and mold damage. If you are hardworking, meticulous, an take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in restoration required.
• Ability to perform in this physically demanding position where you will lift equipment weighing 100+lbs.
• Must be able to work on ladders and tall areas, in confined and tight areas, as well as perform in extreme heat, humidity, and cold weather

Nice To Haves

• Carpet cleaning experience a plus!
• IICRC Water Certification preferred, additional certifications such as Fire, Mold, etc. a plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, water damage mitigation and mold remediation.
• Assist in demolition and prepare areas/rooms for work activities and equipment.
• Execute fire damage mitigation services efficiently and safely.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debris.
• Interface compassionately with clients and relay information to the Lead/Project Manager/ Superintendent.
• Assist with functions outside of mitigation (picking up and delivering materials, performing Matterport scans, etc.) depending on job volume.
