What You’ll Do: The Mitigation Technician at ServiceMaster provides top-quality restoration and cleaning services while following industry standards, including IICRC guidelines. This position includes responding promptly to emergency calls and carrying out tasks such as water, fire, and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and general cleaning. Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with the Senior Technician to execute mitigation activities and manage equipment. While client communication is limited, maintaining professional interactions with customers is essential. Follow Instructions and Safety Protocols: Prepare for daily tasks, adjust plans as needed, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Accurate time tracking using QuickBooks Time (T-Sheets) and respect for company resources are crucial. Manage Equipment and Documentation: Handle equipment responsibly and ensure that all job documentation is precise and up-to-date. You may occasionally drive company vehicles, so maintaining a professional appearance is key. What We’re Looking For: Strong Laborer: While certifications are not required, a solid background in construction is welcome, but someone who’s hardworking and hands-on labor is essential. Detail-Oriented and Professional: Capable of executing detailed requirements, maintaining a clean work area, and setting up containment in a meticulous manner. Team Player with a Commitment to Excellence: Able to work effectively with a crew, follow instructions carefully, and consistently meet high standards of service. Follow Industry Standards: Uphold IICRC standards on every project, ensuring detailed job documentation and showcasing your expertise in ServiceMaster Mitigation procedures. Master Equipment Handling: Safely and efficiently operate and maintain drying and mitigation equipment, adhering to IICRC guidelines. Utilize Top-Notch Products: Expertly use ServiceMaster products and smart phones and tablets to achieve the best results in every restoration task. Adapt to Changing Scenarios: Demonstrate the ability to quickly adjust to shifting project demands and unforeseen challenges during disaster response efforts. Dependable and Punctual: Maintain a strong record of reliability by consistently adhering to schedules, meeting critical deadlines, and being present as required.
