We are looking for a Mitigation Technician, Water to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of water treatment systems. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within and meet established deadlines
  • Punctual
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and attention to detail
  • Must have a clean background, a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • NRPP certification for radon mitigation, or ability to obtain this certification within established timeline upon hire
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of working independently

Nice To Haves

  • Ideal candidates should have some experience in any of the following trades but not required: Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, General Labor, HVAC, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and install radon mitigation systems including:
  • Configure and plumb the installation of the water treatment systems.
  • Conducting diagnostics and troubleshooting issues.
  • Install all materials needed; run pipes for plumbing and installation of the equipment.
  • Occasional light digging and/or excavation of materials on site.
  • Use, maintain, clean and organized company vehicle.
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse
  • Post installation testing and diagnostics of systems.
  • Post installation water sampling and diagnostics of systems.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
  • Provide great customer service and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate to customers how to use the equipment.
  • Respond quickly to customer problems or issues.
  • Document job details in accordance with company policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
