Mitigation Technician Crew Chief
About The Position
The Crew Chief and perform restoration projects on Water, Mold, Fire & Specialized Cleaning, ensuring they’re completed on time and within scope. Leading the crew to make sure all the remediation is met to the proper standards of Paul Davis guidelines. Assist in answering and questions the customer has to meet their satisfaction. What does a Mitigation Technician Crew Chief with Paul Davis do? Serve others within your community in their time of need Taking the lead in the remediation process of removing all damaged material. Ability to perform flood cuts and set up containment for the proper scope of work. Being able to disconnect toilets and sinks for proper removal when needed. Communicate the scope of work to client as needed.
Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- 2-5 Years of experience in Restoration Trades experience in Pluming or Electric
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Have certifications for the restoration trades, This includes IICRC certifications or similar certification accreditation.
Responsibilities
- High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, Fire Remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning/re-installation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
- Set up drying equipment and application of sanitizing chemicals.
- Must be punctual and show up on time to work.
- Must have a drivers license to have adequate transportation to get to work.
- Hours will vary based on the scope of each Job.
- Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
- Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
- Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
- You will assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team.
- Willingness to wear PPE for the various jobs.
- Ability to work with a wide assortment of construction and demolition tools as well as specialized drying equipment
- Comfortable working in confined areas such as crawlspaces and attics - construction, labor, demolition
