About the position
The Mitigation Project Manager at RestorePro Reconstruction is responsible for overseeing project finances, profitability, and daily operations focused on reducing risks and mitigating the impacts of potential hazards. This role involves leading a team to ensure high-quality project outcomes that exceed client expectations while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. The position requires a strong background in project management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies, with some travel involved.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the finances and profitability of projects.
- Lead and manage projects focused on risk reduction and hazard mitigation.
- Coordinate and supervise emergency response work for water, smoke, and fire damage.
- Manage demolition and cleanup operations.
- Set up equipment such as fans and dehumidifiers to mitigate losses.
- Supervise field technicians in emergency service duties.
- Load and unload supplies and equipment for job sites.
- Drive and operate company vehicles equipped with necessary tools and supplies.
- Perform emergency water extraction using specialized equipment.
- Conduct basic demolition tasks and apply fungicides as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns.
- Communicate effectively with clients and management.
- Supervise and evaluate employees.
Requirements
- Two or more years in a leadership role.
- Two or more years of experience in the restoration industry.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, climb, kneel, lift, and carry 50lbs or more daily.
- IICRC Certifications preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficient knowledge of web-based software platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
