About The Position

The Mitigation Lead Technician will work on an array of restoration projects. From homes to businesses. This position will work closely with a Mitigation Project Manager to carry out a project from beginning to end. We have a team of some of the highest certified and skilled restorers in town and we want you to come join us. We will train anyone with a good attitude and problem solving skills. For those who know restoration. We have a very relaxed on-call schedule shared with a multiple other techs. Our rotation is just Friday night till Monday. We give on-call bonuses, response bonuses, profit sharing and so much more. We are the best paid team in town. We have the best equipment and nice vans with full sets of tools provided. Requirements

  • Must have Mitigation experience in order to be considered for this position.
  • Driving is an essential function so applicant must have a clear driving record.
  • Uniform must be worn and must be clean without cuts, holes or stains.
  • Uniform shirt must be tucked in at all times
  • Badge must be worn and visible at all times.
  • Clean and professional appearance. (ie shaving facial hair, combing hair, no strong perfume or colognes)

Responsibilities

  • Will be sent as first responder to new water losses.
  • Relay all information back to the Project Manager assigned to the project.
  • Required to document all paperwork/scope/readings/white board/texts.
  • Be able to make decisions that affect the outcome of the project on-site.
  • They are responsible for all customer communication including emails. While not expected to have all the answers for every situation, the Lead tech is confident and comfortable with water jobs, the requirements, laws, and IICRC plus Oregon Restoration processes and expectations.
  • Provide supervision and direction to Technicians Assistants or temporary employees.
  • Operate equipment for mitigation projects.
  • Take detailed notes on project progressions both in Dash and Text.
  • Communicate via text chain on status of project (labor needed the following day, if on schedule, scope of work completed that day, expected date completed Etc.)
  • Update the WIP board on job status, and equipment used.
  • Document all communication with the insurance adjuster and customers.
  • Take daily readings of project progression.
  • Clean equipment after use and load equipment for new jobs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Ensures all tools and equipment are ready for each project.
  • Interact with customers to help them understand project progression to the best of their ability.
  • Meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
  • Help with training Technicians and Technician Assistants in their knowledge and understanding on how to be more efficient and independent in Water loss and Microbial growth project.
  • Start and lead a single project.
  • Remain on On-call rotation.
