About The Position

Rytech Restoration is seeking a dependable Mitigation Helper to assist with water damage mitigation, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation services. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is hardworking, reliable, and interested in learning the restoration industry.

Requirements

• Clean background check required
• Clean driving record required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Willingness to work in challenging environments (water, smoke, mold)
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Experience in restoration or construction is a plus, but not required (we will train)

Responsibilities

• Assist with water extraction, drying, and demolition
• Help with fire and smoke damage cleanup
• Support mold remediation projects following safety protocols
• Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers)
• Perform general labor duties including cleaning, lifting, and debris removal
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members
