Requirements

  • 9th grade completion and be at least 18 Years Old
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing
  • Read a tape measure, caliper, and spec (details)
  • Able to work independently and work with others
  • Follow verbal, written instructions
  • Good hand-eye coordination and be mechanically adaptable
  • Stand for 10 hours straight
  • Do repetitive movements (hand, wrist and arm)
  • Walk, bend, twist, stoop, climb stairs and lift 35lbs
  • Withstand exposure to heat in excess of 95 degrees; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
  • Be exposed to wood dust and aluminum with no factors or hazards present to a disagreeable extent.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

  • Observe all safety rules and procedures
  • Perform all duties of a crew member.
  • Set-up machine in a timely fashion
  • Keep accurate daily paperwork.
  • Learn to read and process orders on worksheets for end prep and haunch detail.
  • Achieve 6300 pieces per day.
  • Use proper lockout tagout procedures, which include knowing how to set insert tooling.
  • Tie up finished units to be pulled and tagged properly.
  • Grade material off the back of the machine to appropriate customer specifications.
  • Putty and repairs as necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of entire machine including lubrications.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the production process, ensuring manufacturing specifications are achieved.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Delegate tasks and train team members to run the machine center efficiently and accurately.
