About The Position

This is a regular student technical position in which the student will work as a Scene Shop, Costume Shop, Lighting Shop, Sound Shop or Mitchell Hall Stage Crew student assistant. Student employees at Mitchell Hall Theatre support various production aspects through their work in the Scene Shop, Costume Shop, Lighting Shop, Sound Shop, and as part of the Stage Crew. They assist with set construction, costume preparation, lighting and sound setup, and backstage operations, ensuring the smooth execution of theatre productions. These roles provide hands-on experience in theatre production and technical skills development.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at least half-time for fall/spring semesters
• International students must be enrolled full-time
• Must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours to work during the summer
• Obtain a letter from Academic Advisor if fewer credit hours are needed to graduate
