About The Position

Are you a seasoned mission systems operator looking for a meaningful work environment that supports and protects heroes? Join our team! As a Mission Systems Operator (MSO)/Airborne Mission Commander (AMC) III, you will be using your skills and expertise to support our overseas operational missions using Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles. You'll be responsible for operating our airborne sensor equipment, primarily RADAR and MX-15 technologies, to acquire, track, and monitor airborne, ground, and/or maritime objects of interest in routine and dynamic target area searches and performing pre-flight, inflight, and post-flight duties. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.
• Progressive experience with CRM and Airmanship.
• 1000 hours of flight time.
• Knowledge of ARC-231.
• Advanced knowledge of Small Secure Datalink (SSDL) radio functionality.
• Thorough understanding of RADAR Theory and MX15HDi camera technology.
• Experience with practical application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices (FGOP).
• Advanced knowledge of Link-16, SATCOM(BLOS), and SSDL radio functionality.
• Experience with MODE Air and ground operations.
• Experience operating and maintaining Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems.
• Experience with Tracking and Mapping software (TRAX, Cerberus, Orion, Torch, Sceptre).
• U.S. Citizen with a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
• Willingness to travel CONUS off rotation for Training, Medical, and Certification renewals.
• Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations.
• Current Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI and POLY eligibility.

Nice To Haves

• Maritime experience.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
• Experience with Windows 10 Falcon View or Force Map technology.
• Prior experience as a CRM/ORM Instructor.
• SERE 150 training may be required.
• Experience with Multi-Level Aircraft Stacks utilizing ROZ & TEZ tactics.

Responsibilities

• Operate airborne sensor equipment, primarily RADAR and MX-15 technologies.
• Acquire, track, and monitor airborne, ground, and/or maritime objects of interest.
• Perform pre-flight, inflight, and post-flight duties.
• Support overseas operational missions using ORM and CRM principles.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on performance metrics of MSOs.
• Develop training programs, operational manuals, and materials (SOPs) for MSOs.
• Build work shifts and rotations for sensor operators to meet operational demands.
