In this role, you will be responsible for the functional check out of mission systems for the P-8 aircraft, with a focus on supporting the INC 3 Block 2 modification program. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and technical subject matter experts to ensure superior capability and performance of the aircraft. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5+ years’ experience in mission systems engineering, including experience with aircraft modifications, system integration, evaluation and airworthiness planning and management
• Collaborate with both the engineering workforce and the mechanics on the factory floor
• Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a role that required excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• 9+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Security Clearance
• Experience working on P-8 Increment 3 Block 2 (I3B2) or similar modification programs
• Familiarity with technical aspects of the P-8 aircraft or 737 and its mission systems
• Experience working with USN program management or military customers

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for the modification, troubleshooting, and resolution of mission systems issues for the P-8 aircraft, focusing on the I3B2 modification program
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and assess I3B2 program modification performance to ensure seamless mod incorporation onto the aircraft platform with particular focus on optimization of mission systems integration
• Support troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve mission system test failures during the modification program
• Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical contractors to diagnose mission systems issues, define technical solutions, and communicate progress and updates related to aircraft modifications and support
