About The Position
This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Training and Development, U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico. The applicant will perform under close supervision, a variety of administrative, research, analytical duties, special assignments and completing training all related to the mission, both of which are aimed in preparing the applicant to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their duties. This position starts at a salary of $73,939.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $115,213.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $115,213.00 (GS-12 Step 10). In this Mission Support Specialist (Generalist) position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by becoming a valuable member of a team of administrative professionals.
