About The Position

The Mission Strategy Consultant at Valence plays a crucial role in enhancing US national security by serving as a client-facing team member for premier national security programs. This position involves supporting senior members of the US Defense and National Security communities on high-priority problem sets and operations, working collaboratively with government employees and fellow consultants with diverse operational expertise.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI with Polygraph)
• 3+ years of experience in the defense/national security industries or similar professional environment
• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated aptitude for analysis and problem-solving
• Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas through writing and briefing
• Experience in an operational role within the Intelligence Community or relevant organizations

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Government, International Studies, Data Science, Finance, Business, IT, Computer Science, Communications, or other STEM majors
• Knowledge of emerging and defense technology
• Certifications in project management, Scrum, or other commercial management methodologies
• Proven record of leadership at work or through extracurricular activities
