About The Position

Leidos has multiple Mission Manager positions in Northern Virginia. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph examination and be willing to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule, to include weekends and holidays. Mission Managers are responsible for coordinating, resourcing and overseeing the execution of collection operations, working with in-house and geographically dispersed elements in support of clearly defined collection objectives. Key skills for success include the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to make complex, multi-factor decisions under stress. Successful Mission Managers think critically about the immediate and long-term implications of tactical decisions and how those decisions fit into the overall team objectives. Mission Managers must be natural multi-taskers and have excellent communication skills. Education and Experience: Mission Managers are required to have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4-8 years of full-time professional experience or a Masters degree with 2 - 6 years or less of prior relevant experience. Candidates with prior military or law enforcement leadership experience in a tactical setting are highly desired. Previous intelligence experience is preferred but not required.
