About The Position

Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Engineer Intern in our Atlanta office! This position is available as a summer internship running from May-August, or a Spring Co-op running from January-August, or a Fall Co-op running from May-December.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field.
• Within 18 months of graduating.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

Nice To Haves

• General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings.
• Clear communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.

Benefits

• Hourly wage of $20-$25/hour, with variation based on location and candidate's skills.
